Extended Texas Wesleyan University Era

(The 2010s to 2020s)

History of the Era

This era, of course, has the greatest amount of technology, methodology, theory, and research than any other in history. Students in this era have wide access to the sciences at Texas Wesleyan due to a collective understanding of science that could only be brought about due to the Internet's increasing effects on education. Classes such as BIO-1414 (Cats, Chromosomes & Codons) with its digital experiments with genetics to Senior level research that can entail molecular biology, immunity, or genetics. Looking forward to the future seems to be an exponential growth for prospective students to learn from with greater technology and better ways to teach the intricacies of science education. COVID-19 is an unforgettable factor within the latter part of this decade, reminding us of how powerful technology is, and at any point, we can commit to a fully autonomous online system. The looming question of how do we go forward with this knowledge will shape how we interact with science in the years to come.
